VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Be Part of our Great Team!

The Sundre & District Museum could not survive without our volunteers.  There are many opportunities for you to volunteer in many areas.  Do you have a special interest or skill? Call us or stop in for a coffee, we would love to talk with you. Volunteer opportunities are: Front Desk, Guided Tours, Ground Maintenance, Building Maintenance, Event Planning and Youth programming, Collection Care, and Exhibit Design to name a few. We would love to find a volunteer position for you. In fact, fill in our volunteer form and bring it by the museum. We will give you a tour and see if this is a fit for us all. Come be a part of history!

Join one of our committees!

As a member of the Sundre & District Historical Society there are many opportunities for you to volunteer.  Do you have a special interest or skill? Is this something that would benefit the museum? Come in and chat with us about where you see yourself. Our volunteers work at the front desk, assist with cut grass; do guided tours, clean and dust, garden, paint, maintenance and more. The Sundre & District Historical Society would like to acknowledge that the Sundre & District Museum is located on Treaty 6 and 7 territories which have been the traditional meeting grounds, gathering place and travelling route for the Blackfoot Confederacy, Tsuu t'ina, Stoney Nakota and Region 3 Metis. We also wish to publicly acknowledge the many First Nations, Metis and Inuits whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries.
